  • I really enjoyed touring the different facilities and seeing firsthand the similarities and differences in the way each facility uses biometrics. It is exciting to know that so much of this is happening in WV and to be able to pass that on to students.

  • I really found all of the facilities to be interesting and informative. I had no idea how widely used biometrics were in this area and state. My students would love to visit these places and would learn much from the presentations.

  • I had no idea about the biometric fusion center located in Clarksburg so it was very exciting to get a chance to explore it but I really would have liked to go in and tour the facility more in depth.

  • I was quite surprised about how bometrics will be invovlved in our everyday life. I only thought biometrics would be used in security with the government. However, I can see many businesses and future occupations using biometrics. This would also open the area for many technical jobs that would need to support the field of biometrics.

  • I did not know the biometric fusion center was in clarksburg.
I enjoyed seeing all the various devices that are available for us to use in our normal lives.

I think the fingerprint portion of the FBI tour was very interesting but some of the presentations did not meet our needs.

  • It is amazing that West Virginia, again, is on the cutting edge of research and development in an extremely important area such as biometrics and forensics. Our state is an underestimated jewel in the United States.
